I remember when I was a kid there was a small restaurant / store in Maine that had a gumball machine and if you got a specific color I think it was yellow you got a free soda it made people buy a ton of gumballs maybe you could do something like a sticker for a prize or something that make people want to buy even more

does the machine ever get wiped down with sanitizer? I never really thought about it before but the other day I saw a video where a mom was kind of grossed out by her daughter getting a gumball from one of these types of machines. the number of hands that touch that dial, and the door to get the gumball, plus it's near the floor, what if someone puts their feet on it, then you/your kid touches it to open it then grab your gum and pop it in your mouth.
