As a former Cancer pt. And now nurse, if you need to, get yourself some hospice support! Hospice doesn’t mean then end, it supports your needs at home. You can go on and off of hospice. Sending you love. Also, have your mom look into becoming your home health caregiver, so she can get paid to help you.

Girl get palliative care. It's not end of life care like hospice.... they can help you immensely. My mom has stage 4B ovarian cancer and thanks to palliative care she has the best quality of life for someone going through chemo and treatments. It's truly worth it. Thinking of you. 🩷

my aunt was told her stage 4 cancer was terminal, she tried one of the clinical trials as a last resort and 5 years later she's in remission. keep fighting Syd, you got this ❤️

Your doctors do know where you’re at. In my experience, they try to shield you from it. It is your right to demand answers regarding where you are in your timeline and prognosis. You are such a nice person, I want you to know that it isn’t unkind to ask that your team be honest with you

I have heard that palliative care can seriously help folks WHILE they are going through treatment by helping with nausea, weakness, etc. I think there is a stigma around palliative care but it is much different than hospice. You have many, many more Aprils and Mays in your future. 🥰
