I would remove the mirror and center it between the opening for the front door and the steps side of the wall. Move the table down because that is a return vent. It’s not a heating vent so you could block some of the return because the air will still get through. Then I would put the tree lamp on the side side of the banisters and if you want put the lamp on the end or on a stand next to the opening, going to the door front door and get some larger vases if you like that under the mirror which will be centered.

Did you try it by the staircase (where the basket is) swap the basket and tree that way when you’re walking down the stairs you see the glow of the light too?

Maybe put some large coffee table books in the middle of the table with a picture frame on top to create a vignette. Looks good.
