you don’t care about her tip, she doesn’t care about your hospitality! sounds 50/50 to me.

do you realize sonic workers who bring out food get paid just like a server and depend on tips

Car hops at sonic does way more than just “walking out to the Car” also most work for under minimum wage because it is a tipping job. But to each their own. Don’t expect their attitude to be 110% when you wouldn’t even give them 1.00 in change 🤷🏼♀️

Just go through the drive through instead of having them walk it to your car.

you tip for a service right? if you’re a known regular for not tipping, no customer service.

Sonic has always been a place for tips. They even have to report there tips before clocking out. It’s nice getting a dollar or a few cents for like 10 bucks a day for gas. I always tip. They do work hard. I worked for Sonic for 10 years. It gets so hot and busy and crazy and the ac rarely works. They really do a lot. You don’t have to tip but realize you can lol

I understand tipping culture is way out of hand nowadays, but Sonic is an exception because we only make seven dollars an hour and the rest we make in tips and we take your food out to your stall in your car and make all your drinks and your ice cream we take your order we take care of drive-through I feel like Sonic is an exception.

As a Sonic carhop we make 7.25 as a carhop, we depend on our tips! I understand some people don’t know that but yes that’s why we have always had a tip option. We do depend on it. Thankfully a lot of people do tip! I understand why people don’t understand that but we are “servers” we just don’t have tables
