There is no spoon. There is no gravity. He can only defy his brains interpretation of the matrix. He isn't defying physics. There are no physics only your brains interpretation of physics that do not in fact exist any where but their minds. At least that's how it's explained in the movie.

The moment I watched this I was like, "this is so ground breaking how good is movie making and action movies" Bro this movie was the peak.... Nothing has surpassed their creativity or execution since 1999. When computers were barely useful in movies.
