@jack_edwards: What is the BEST book to screen adaptation of the past 50 years??? LitHub surveyed thousands of voters to find out which bookish film people love the most…. and apparently this happened in a world where The Hunger Games: Catching Fire just……. doesn’t exist???? Here are the results in the four categories of comedy, action/thriller, drama, and sci-fi/horror/fantasy 🎬🎬 #BookToScreen #whattowatch
I said Gone Girl immediately with no hesitation and was going to be Very Upset if it wasn't here. Good.

Honestly, The Princess Bride and The Lord of the Rings were the first two that came to mind, so I personally think having those two as the winners is the best outcome

Pride and Prejudice (2005) is my favorite! Project Hail Mary omitting the court scenes and a reasonable amount of internal dialogue kept it from being damn near perfect.

Lord of the rings, Dune, Harry Potter, Hunger Games and totally unironically… Twilight. These pretty much just stay on rotation in my house.

Not gonna lie. I wanted it to be so many books but Heated Rivalry is the best by far.
