This is real talk! I stopped reading scripture like two weeks ago and next thing I knew it’d been a week since I picked it up again. I felt such guilt. I’m back in it, but trying not to read so much at one time so I’m not overwhelmed. 🙏☺️

I started listening to the Bible in the morning while getting ready for the day. 30 minutes a morning and then 1 chapter at night. When I tell you, I’ve learned so much since I started this. I’m going through listening the Bible for the second time already this time. I’m staying in the Gospels until God tells me to move on but I tell you, my eyes are trying opening and I’m falling in love with God’s word more each day.

I still feel like I’m not doing enough and feel like I can give more of my time to God because I don’t do overboard. I read one chapter ( Matthew rn) in the mornings instead of getting on my phone and then I just go about my day because to me it was unrealistic to wake up read sit meditate and journal, but I feel like I’m cheating God so I don’t know if I should push myself to do more or be content with doing what I feel like his bare minimum and God is not bare minimum about me
