Burst was all Greek and god type theming, any Greek things we’ll get will come from burst homages unfortunately . I do wish hasbro did retools better, like imagine stun Medusa was an orochi retool which would actually make sense but insisted its over a shinobi blade 😭

TT is very clearly still involved with “hasbro” retools because they just rerelease the hasbro beys in different colors and sell them for more. So they likely require them to not be competitive so that not many people are interested in the hasbro versions and later on they can sell them with more aesthetic color palettes.

Now I agree with you for the most part however the Red Hulk and other IP collabs are considered “echo” beys where the bat and stag would be “retools” correct?

Retools help get people that aren’t interested in beys possibly into it if they like the collab of the bey. Had a friend who got into it after I showed him they released and iron man bey since he’s a big marvel guy

I think retools would be more effective if they chose better beys. There are a few that seem better than the originals, like Jurrasic and transformers.
