its really not talked about enough how many women are raped during war and killed in horrific ways. In the 2022 armenian war, azerbaijani soldiers raped one of the only armenian women fighting in the war. But they didn’t just rape her, they cut her fingers, replaced her eyes with stones and put her fingers in her mouth, and recorded it. I remember seeing the video on twitter. Her name was Anush apetyan, and no one spoke about it. Of course as well, during the armenian genocide in 1915, the ottoman turks would target pregnant women, place a bet on if she was having a girl or boy and rip the baby out her belly, not before raping her though. I wish this was spoken about more, its truly inhumane .
