@emsterfitness: The goal is awareness and safer behavior, not shame. I’m 1 out of 3. I’ve had 2 sexual assault cases in my military career. 1 domestic violent relationship and 2 other sexual harrassments. Some where my “friends”, “boyfriend”, “co worker”, someone’s “husband” & 1 stranger. This conversation isn’t about saying all men are predators. It’s about recognizing that enough women have experienced harm that caution becomes a survival habit. Lemme say this: Women don’t generalize because they think every man is guilty. They generalize because the consequences of guessing wrong can be life-altering. I’m sharing these to help. Not to accuse you or your best guy friend. But to be aware and say something.
