That’s not the origin story I want to tell our grandchildren. “How did you two meet?” — “Oh, he had a cavity.” Absolutely not. We deserve better. Reason Number 2: The first time he opens his mouth for me, it should be to say “I love you” — not “Aaaaaah.” 🫶 That’s it. That’s the reason. I don’t make the rules. Actually, I do make the rules, and this is one of them. The first wide-open-mouth moment in our relationship should be emotional, not clinical. I have standards. I have a vision board. My vision board does not include a saliva ejector. Reason Number 3: I want him to be brave for me — and nobody is brave at the dentist. 🦁
