I dated an alcoholic and, over time, heard just about every excuse imaginable. That experience led me to personally avoid alcohol altogether. With that said, I don’t judge people who choose to drink. I just typically wouldn’t go on a date at a bar—unless I was trying to find out whether the other person drinks regularly.
