I'm a dentist and couldn't tell which ones were bonding for what it's worth. Just chill.

I'm a hygienist and I dk if this helps or hurts, I couldn't tell which ones were the bonded ones! I assumed it was actually the natural "white" one.

Hey! One thing to keep in mind is if you just got it done today- your tooth structure will sometimes dehydrate and appear whiter than it normally is day of. Give it a

there isn’t a way to whiten the bondings unless you take them off and redo them in a whiter color 😭

here's the thing, i couldn't tell which two were the composite bonding, i think the dentist was trying to match the color to your back teeth and they kind of look like your bottom teeth too. about the whitening, maybe the hismile purple toothpaste bc it deposits purple rather than whitening?? might be work a try 😓😓

Hey I'm a dentist! Your front natural tooth is set a little more forward than its counterpart so (using color theory) it looks whiter (the bonded teeth are in a shadow too from your lip being numb and being a little set back.) Also, your natural teeth dry out and get more white temporarily while you have work done - check in tomorrow and see if you still don't like it! If not, your dentist can make adjustments. I thjnk your result looks really nice!

If you’re still numb, there’s a chance your natural teeth are “desiccated” meaning overly dry giving them a slightly “whiter frosty” color. This happens from the way the teeth get from the prep and restoration process. Give it overnight at look at it again! And lmk!

Hey girl! Sadly there isn’t a way to whiten composite, the fix would be to have them redone. I would give it a couple of days to see how you feel and really analyze everything, and then give them a call to schedule and voice what you would like to have changed with the dentist ☺️I promisehe dentist wants to see you happy too!

Ask them to redo them! They most likely will redo it for you if you aren’t happy!

There is no way to Hawaiian bonding or tooth colored filling . it can be really hard to do a perfect shade match on the first try. The dentist should redo it for free with a lighter shade!!

Just let the dentist know once you saw them in natural light you aren’t satisfied. They should fix it.

i got this done and the first few weeks it might feel like it looks very noticeable (only to yourself) but after a while i think it looks a lot more natural and you feel a lot more confident, atleast from the pov of our own eyes!! from an outside pov tho, it looks great girl!! 😊

I couldn’t tell! I have composite bonding on my upper right incisor and got it redone a couple years ago because it was turning yellow from coffee. I now drink literally everything through a straw and it has remained pretty much the same color as when I got it done. It sucks and they have to be redone every few years but I haven’t found a way to whiten it yet :/

Dentist here (& also a people pleaser so I get it lol) — you can’t whiten composite bonding unfortunately…the only way to brighten it would be to have it redone in a lighter shade! I would definitely NOT follow any of the recommendations in the comments to use whitening products. It is only going to whiten your natural teeth and make the shade difference even more noticeable. If you decide to have them redone, then you could whiten your teeth first if you want just so they match it to your whitened teeth if you don’t like your natural shade as is.

Dentist — you cannot whiten composite. Promise you. I would advise you to wait — the teeth (not the bonded ones) will rehydrate and the color usually blends better in 24-48 hours. So after the procedure, the bonding ALWAYS looks darker because the surrounding teeth are dehydrated

Dentist here - I was waiting for a disaster but those are the 2 absolute best composites I have ever seen. Your next step is porcelain veneers but if you don’t lower your expectations a little you might not be happy with veneers either
