@athomewithrossi: No one really prepares you for these little milestones 🥹 Getting rid of my youngest’s cot and making his big boy bed, and honestly… it hit me harder than I expected. It feels like such a simple thing, but when it’s your last baby, every “last” feels that little bit bigger. The cot stage feels like it lasts forever when you’re in it, the broken sleep, the bedtime battles, the “just one more cuddle”… and then suddenly you’re taking the sides off and realising they’re not quite as little as they were yesterday. He is absolutely ready for it, and he’s so excited, which makes it lovely… but I think as a parent you can be proud and emotional at the same time. I’m so happy with how his little room is coming together though. It feels cosy, calm and still very him 🤍 Anyone else found the cot-to-bed stage weirdly emotional? #toddlerbed #boysbedroom #cotbed #childrensroom #kidsroomdecor
