@sydneyowebb: 📓finding sweetness, pt 1: sooo, I’m really not doing very well mentally. but then again, what else was I expecting after working for 6 months straight without giving myself a single day off. i mean, feeling an overwhelming sense of heaviness & complete and utter exhaustion was bound to find me at some point, right? but, in the process of both me & Bennett giving our entire souls to this company, it feels like we’ve forgotten who we are. like I’ve forgotten my sense of style. What food sounds good to me when I’m hungry. What i like to do outside of work, and honestly in some ways, whoI am. we’ve also basically been paying ourselves nearly nothing in order to hire the team we need to grow, so, its just made this time all the more fun. in so many ways it feels wrong to complain about being busy with the thing that we’ve dreamed of for years, but I really just miss myself I guess, miss feeling like a person, and not just a cookie queen, though that’s a badge illl always wear proudly. but I suppose the good news is that no matter how lost some parts of me may feel, that’s really not ever lost forever, is it? it’s just buried underneath all of the to do list tabs I have open on my computer. which I, as do you, have the power to close at any time. so, here’s to taking my first day off this weekend, with no guilt. because after all, how am I supposed to run a company centered in spreading sweetness if I can’t give any of that to myself? i think the short answer is, i cant. so, I’ll start today. because that’s all we can ever do. will report back, love you all xx #selflove #confidence #mentalhealth #fyp #motivation
