Gosh, here i was thinking, tired is tired and circumstances are circumstances. No one is more or less than anyone else. I love my empathy, it makes every day wonderful. I'm still exhausted but im happy.

There is a reason that they say night shift takes ten years off of your life. Kids or no kids, night shift messes with your bodies natural circadian rhythm. Life is noisy by nature during the day. So add kids to the mix….yeah, a different type of sleepy lol. Here come the tired police. Yes, tired is tired. But having to power through that exhaustion to WORK rather than lump around on the couch is much different sis so I feel you.

Yes everyone is allowed to be tired. But I feel you. Night shift nurse & mom of a 2 year old and 8 month old that are still home with me during the day. Even when I have help during the day to watch them I still have to wake every 3 hours to breastfeed my baby. It’s tough out here.

working 4/10s overnight then walking up at 7am with 2 toddlers, still doing mom/wife/woman things during the day and having to prepare for yet another shift will always be more tiring than not working period. it'll kill me but my kids aren't in daycare and I have my own money 🖤

Yep, I did nights more than 6 years, but only 2 with kids. You are more tired than me 200%.

Me to my husband because when he comes home from a nightshift he sleeps all day and when I come home I mom all day 🙃

I get more tired at home with my 4 year old than on night shift on a busy tele/neuro floor. At least at I get guaranteed breaks

Ok, I call BS. I now work full time as a night shift RN but was once a stay at home to 4 kids under 6. For 13 years. I was infinitely more tired and fried back then.

You can always tell what people haven't ever worked nightshift.🤣 Nightshift also seems to always have a different sense of humor. If we don't laugh at the misery it just sucks 😂
