Or how about don’t give your kids access to cell phones? No need to violate your children’s privacy. Just raise them properly. They aren’t mini adults they are children. They do not have the cognitive capability to resist the social pressure and the predatory energy that exists in online spaces. Their brains haven’t fully formed. Legislation needs to be passed to protect children not criminalize them for copying the behavior of the adults they see online. Society needs to take more responsibility- children don’t grow up in a vacuum- they are the result of every good & every ill in society reflected back to us. We need to love the children, we need to create a safe world for children, & we need to hold all those who harm children, govt & industry alike, accountable for their crimes. Children need to see a world of adults that love & protect them. Their condition is a manifestation of complete social & systemic neglect. Let’s change ourselves so we can change the harm into healing. ❤️🩹
