people have probably already said this but the count of monte cristo was adapted into a movie in 2024… with pierre niney as edmond dantes and it’s amazing. it’s in french which i love about it (i speak french ofc) but with subtitles im sure you’ll enjoy it just as much. also if you wanna keep at it with dostoevsky, my fav is the brothers karamazov. masterpiece. my all time fav!!

i would recommend to read “the brothers karamazov” it is such a nice and very questioning book, that it is argued about the existence of god and why we pray to him… i don’t want to spoil it, if you loved “crime and punishment”, then u would love as well this book
