@178anatomy: 🚨 5 WARNING SIGNS OF CAUDA EQUINA SYNDROME Severe lower back pain combined with numbness, leg weakness, or sudden bladder changes may signal a serious spinal emergency called cauda equina syndrome. This condition happens when the nerves at the base of the spine become severely compressed, and delayed treatment can sometimes lead to permanent neurological damage. The earlier these warning signs are recognized, the better the chance of preventing long-term complications. Never ignore what your nervous system is trying to tell you. #CaudaEquina #BackPain #NerveCompression #SpineHealth #Neurology #PainScience #EmergencySymptoms
I’ve had these symptoms for a long time and yet even after a neurosurgeon look over my MRI / CTScan my back pain is so bad all time now, left leg and foot numbness pins needles Now spreading to my other toes?? Walking is hard I’m always bent over all he suggested use a walker. Wow does nothing for severe progressing nerve pain and bladder incontinance too I’m 72 post op lower back fushion 19 yrs ago Dr said do not let anyone operate on you ?? What am I to do? Barely getting around have all those symptoms it’s like no one listening to me. I’m a shell of what I used to be just getting worse even my pain dr brushes this off. What to do ? 😭

For me what has helped is deep tissue massages, It has helped me with joint inflammation and nerve compression. I also do PT once a week. It’s a slow recovery but I have seen improvement.

I had back surgery, epidurals and been doing PT since 1996 and nothing has improved but gotten worse. After I wake up, have to sit for one or two hours until the pain ( lower back) goes away and I can do the house chores. I also have osteoarthritis and it doesn’t help.
