Moist Lemon Loaf Cake Granulated Sugar – 150 g (3/4 cup) Lemon zest – 4 tbsp Butter – 159 g (11 tbsp + 1 tsp, approximately) Oil – 50 g (3 tbsp + 2 tsp) Eggs – 250 g (5 large eggs) whole milk – 125 g (1/2 cup + 2 tbsp) All-purpose flour – 250 g (2 cups) Baking powder – 2½ tsp Salt – 1/3 tsp Lemon Syrup Lemon juice – 60 g (4 tbsp) Water – 60 g (4 tbsp) Sugar – 60 g (1/2 cup) Simmer until the sugar dissolves, then pour over the warm cake. Lemon Glaze Lemon syrup – 1 1/2 tbsp Powdered sugar – 40 g (1/3 cup) 1. Mix the lemon zest with the sugar until fragrant. 2. Cream with the butter until light and fluffy. 3. Add the eggs gradually in 5-6 additions. 4. Fold in the flour, baking powder, and salt. 5. Gently mix in the milk and oil until smooth. 6. Bake in a preheated 328 F oven for 55-65 minutes, pour the warm lemon syrup, then top with the lemon glaze once cooled slightly. #lemon #loaf #cake #Recipe #baking
