He's reassuring himself that he did a good thing by dropping college, good for him but don't need to disparage other's choices!! Being a Phd myself, I can tell you that it is very hard to express onself clearly about what you learned during the process, but there's thousands of things that you learn along the way that cannot be proven with one answer to a simpliste question as the one he's asking. also just because you know something about power, it doesn't mean that you know all the intricacies that can be learned from reading hundreds of books about that thematic dynamic.

Some people get PHDs because they enjoy learning and using their brains. And for the record, I believe studying power structures is important- this guy should agree since he talks about power dynamics on every one of his podcasts.

College isn’t a scam, BUT too many people go to colleges for unnecessary degrees because they didn’t have a plan for what they wanted going in, and often have no real plan coming out of one either.
