I just wanna say this real quick... Winning the Japanese Derby is no easy feat, it's one of the most prestige and sought after G1s, on par with the Japanese Cup or the Arima Kinen. And of course the 3 G1s that make up the Triple Crown/Tiara. Sirius had some serious (pun intended) bad luck, traveling over seas to Europe fucked him up a bit and weakened him, and this was before a time they really cared about horse safety and well being via ship.
