Tech Line wanted me to pull the head to verify that the valve was burnt and the spark plug ground broke off despite me sending a borescope picture clearly showing that it was already broken without needing to pull the head

Subaru tech line is NOTHING like Hyundai’s tech line. Half the time, you’re fighting to see if they’re actually guiding you in the right direction, OOOOR… you’re three warranty parts replaced by tech line’s proof of decision… still hasn’t fixed the original problem, so now you gotta start aaaaaaall the way back from square one

14 year honda tech and ive called techlone twice, both times already knowing the problem but was advised in my younger years to call and they lead me in circles replacing wrong parts until I was like yea no im doing this and lets move on. If you cant diagnose the car when its right in front if you what in the world do you think they're going to help with.

Man I just delt with this shit on a 26 outback with a radio issue they said replace the ccu and it didn’t fix it and now they want the same shit over again😂
