Hire a lemon lawyer immediately. Doesn’t matter if it’s pre owned the dealer needs to take it back and pay you for every expense. Have an attorney send a demand letter.

📌TIMELINE: • Bought a CPO BMW M5 • Within the FIRST 1-2 days of ownership the vehicle started shutting off during startup, misfiring, running rough, and throwing multiple engine codes • Immediately contacted dealership staff and have text message proof showing I reported the issues within the first couple days of ownership • Specifically asked whether the situation would qualify under the first-week return policy because the problems started almost immediately after purchase • Was leaving out of state the following morning and there was no courtesy vehicle available because one had not been reserved for me AFTER THAT: • Vehicle was later diagnosed with major cylinder head issues • Vehicle has now been at the dealership for nearly 2 months • I’ve only physically had the car around 1 week total since purchase • I’ve had to make approximately 5-6 trips to the dealership and I live over an hour away • I’m currently on my 3rd loaner vehicle • One of the loaner vehicles I was driving was SOLD while I was in it, forcing me to drive back AGAIN to exchange vehicles • I’m now approaching my 2nd payment on a vehicle I can barely use BMW/dealership says they want to continue repairs first before discussing other resolutions. At this point I no longer want the vehicle back regardless of repairs. A major engine-related issue this early into ownership completely destroyed my confidence in the vehicle and the CPO process. This has also caused financial hardship because my vehicles are part of my business/content creation work.
