Honestly I can't imagine the battery being very good but it's just a regular battery polisher so should do the job with the right compound and speed setting

a rule of thumb, if you rub your nail over a scratch and can feel it catch, it's more than likely too deep. if you feel it slightly, you might be able to flat it with 2000 and polish it up
