if you use the 4px brush you don’t have to go box by box! up to u but i find it way easier haha

Or you select smooth on living the grid and select 1 pixel and that way 1 pixel means 1 pixel so you don’t have to do squares of 4

if you are using a photo and the colors are too complex, I've been using the website colorstudy.app to simplify the images I'm using so it doesn't lose quality when I make it less colors!
