It’s been a minute since I’ve read MT. I don’t think I’ve ever really seen a defendable moment from rudeus. However, I do think he is a well written character with solid development. It’s insane when people try to defend him when the entire point is that he’s a pretty awful person who needs to grow and change.

I never read the manga the light nobl or the anime that's not my type of tea reincarnation, to a different world or a teleporter. This is kinda boring not my style i mostly like horror movies and books, musber, and that kind of franchise, of manga but I do like re:zero manga and the light novel

I don’t defend his actions, but the manga isn’t the source material btw. I still like him as a character, but not as a person. Part of understanding his character is understanding his faults, not by excusing them. Even the story tries to make that clear.

I mean, if I got Isa card like that and I was stuck in a teenager body I would get emotionally invested in other people, but I don’t think I would actually sleep with anyone until I was an adult and even then I think I would only sleep with people who were already adults and I’ve written characters to be like immortals who their minds reset sometimes overtime but they do eventually remember everything they’ve been through over the course of their entire existence and they usually don’t pick partners except people that already chose to follow them to the end of the Earth and even then they still feel guilty about relationships. I don’t usually get completely invested in this new partner until they’re at least old enough to understand what they’re getting into which like even when the relationship like starts kindling early, the immortal doesn’t commit to it, and like actually start acting like a lover or partner until the other partner has at least lived enough of a life to be content with the decision so like it’s not like twilight where Edward was just an old man in high school it’s more like one day you’re hanging out working and like the theater district long ass time ago, you see some dude who looks not much older than you showing up in town, causing a ruckus making a big show of who he is then by the time he leaves, everyone who was in danger or in a less fortunate, life state went with him and you were one of them and you’re upset about leaving everything behind now as he’s walking you across the continents from like East Asia all the way to like Greece or Egypt he’s just dropping off all the other kids he say finding them safe places to live, helping them set up their new lives, making sure everyone stays alive and happy yet you ain’t got nowhere to go and you want this to be his problem because you don’t know what you’re doing where you are or what to do next he gets you all the way to Greece after a

@Dark Sand Oasis Production i understand your logic completely when it comes to this and please understand then I am not defending rudius or any of his nonsense or defending any of his defenders But this video made me think of the whole isakai genre in general, any isakai that does involve a grown person who ends up going to another world, becoming a child again with the mentality of an adult and has romance in the anime. wouldn't that just be as bad as jobless, reincarnation?
