@pogi_a1: I think people build versions of others in their heads and forget that those versions are not always real. Somehow I became cold, strange, difficult, or distant in the minds of certain people, and I still don’t fully understand why. Maybe silence gets mistaken for judgment. Maybe being different is enough for people to create a story around you. Whatever it is, it feels strange hearing descriptions of yourself that don’t match the person you know you are. Because underneath everything, I know I move through the world gently. I care deeply, probably more deeply than I let people see. I hold onto small moments, worry about people quietly, and try to leave things softer than I found them. I’m not perfect, but I know there is kindness in me.
