Please advise me. Three days ago, on my way to the gym, I saw a couple who had been kicked out of their house about nine months ago. They sleep outside, and that day I noticed the husband sitting and reading the Bible. Something in me felt led to speak to them, so I went over and asked what happened. The husband explained that he is a graduate and also a pastor, but he believes God asked him not to work, so they have struggled financially and couldn’t afford another apartment. I felt deeply touched by their situation, so I decided to help. I gave them ₦50,000 that day and promised to give them ₦500,000 next Tuesday, and I still intend to do so. But I also want to give the man some advice because he is obviously suffering because of this calling. What wise and respectful advice can I give him without sounding judgmental or discouraging his faith?
