@gynecologydoc: This Mother’s Day, sharing a small glimpse into what we do for women living with pain that often goes unseen. Robotic excision of Stage 4 endometriosis with rectal shaving. In this case, we’ve used a lateral window approach—similar to the anterior compartment—to get underneath the nodule, reduce its bulk on the rectum, and then safely shave it off. As we keep refining our technique, the goal stays the same— safer surgery, better outcomes, and helping women get their life back.
