This thing is a total joke…I’ve had mine for a week now and it hasn’t worked properly for 5 minutes. Using a Fujifilm X-S20 and a Nikon Z6III, when I first got it the shutter button on the remote or the app wouldn’t start recording in either camera. Reached out to support, and three days later they sent me a custom firmware that got the shutter button working but broke the ability for the panorama and timelapse modes to actuate the shutter so now I can’t do residential or architectural 360 or 720 VR shots. That update also broke the app, so now when trying to control the gimbal from the app the onscreen joystick works but return to default, 180 flip and mode change no longer work…in addition to start/stop record being borked. Oh and if you close the Hohem Joy app and hit the shutter button it starts changing the volume on your phone 😂 That was two days ago, and no response from support since. I have two DJI stabilizers that have worked out of the box with anything I’ve thrown at them…so I’m going to give it one more week. If they haven’t fixed these stupid issues I’m sending it back and getting the RS5 instead. If you’re not a tinkerer and you have time for this BS then buy one, otherwise just go with what’s trusted and reliable.
