I was 12 when I read v.c andrews I was good but looking back probably wasn't the best content for a 12 year old😬

I say so what I did as a kid. Read the book. If it gives you nightmares then read the next one in the series to see if it's as scarring as the first one.

I read every book my kids have ever read. If I think it’s inappropriate I tell them.

checks anime and fey books "will a 1000 year old child work?" the 17 year old protagonist will act more mature if that means anything?

i wish parents would normalize just reading the books first before asking if they are suitable for their kids. like only the parent or guardian of that child knows what's appropriate for that child. so read it & decide if you want them to have it or not. 🤷♀️

Hmmm maybe the parents need to try the read the books and then finde out if it’s appropriate for your child. My 18 year old son do however love your books like I love them

My books are technically YA which has been traditionally ages 12-18 (even tho that confuses people) and even I answer this question with parental discretion and I can tell you specific tropes and the general age demographic for my genre and therefore it’s not children literature and anyone under 12 I would suggest no?

so I've already added your book to my "buy" list but was wondering if you knew the Anita Blake series and could point me to something similar to how the beginning of the series started? I love smut but the new novels are just ... too much to listen to while I'm working but I love the world she's created. any help from book lovers in the comments would be appreciated

I mean when people buy a book or look up a book online don't they say what ages they're for? I mean they might say them in the book too but not always.
