oh yes removing stones from the ground does expose it and those creatures do have less places to hide people have been stacking Stones like that for centuries there are stacks of stones that are hundreds of years old in the end there are trillions upon trillions of rocks on the ground the issue isn't that they're stacking them it's that people are getting butthurt over the little things those stones acts don't generally hurt anything and eventually they will get knocked over naturally unless they're built to last long times like the ones that have been standing for hundreds of years we don't see people knocking those over cuz they're considered national landmarks Stone stacks have also been used to guide people along trails for centuries markers saying this is a safe trail or a place to get water or food I don't view there's anything wrong with stone stacking cuz nature will eventually take it back regardless of our intervention if the stacks aren't hurting anything directly leave them alone you don't know actually what they're for you for all you know you just knocked over a gravestone someone may have put that there to commemorate someone's life or could be a marker that you unknowingly destroyed that shows freshwater or food anywhere available for people traveling those trails the destruction of the stacks are just malicious nature will always find a way around what we do
