I didn’t know these clips would become a timeline of my mom’s Alzheimer’s. For the past few years, I would film myself arriving at her house, opening her door, walking in, hearing her voice. At first she greeted me standing, talking, smiling. Over time, the changes became impossible to miss. Different versions of goodbye.
