60k only comes out to 4k/month if you have no health insurance and other benefits coming out, which isn’t realistic.

we bought our house in PA for 300k in 2013. our income was 60k from our job and we lived paycheck to paycheck. Both took up side jobs to supplement our salary we were able to put 10% down. continued with our side jobs for next 10 years and now we have a paid off house. No side jobs now. not rich but we are able to survived
