as the eldest sibling who got kicked out, I watched one sibling also get kicked out, and am watching the beginning of the younger one being kicked out. the bond wont go away. if anything its stronger now

Simple dad here, I didn't choose to be born, however I did choose to have 3 kids and regardless of how independent they become I hope they know I'll always keep their room ready for them and a plate for them at the table. As every person who choose to have kids should. I hope you grow stronger and live better than ever imagined. Best wishes

Made a deal with my dad I could come in at 11pm and shower/sleep on the couch, had to be gone by 5am my little sister would stay up late just to show me her projects for school and her gymnastics improvements… haven’t see her in five years now… she turns 16 later this year and it kills me so much

God I hated this feeling. We stayed up for HOURS just telling each other how much we love the other, how we’d never do this when we become parents, how I’d never abandon her. I hate that this has happened to other girls my age/lil sis age it’s miserable! THEY WERE OIR FIRST BABIES😭😔

this but my sister staying inside my room, not saying anything, before she left for good the next day. i felt something was wrong but never spoke up. i wanted to hug her that night. she's okay now and has a family of her own and visits us every weekend. i just wished I could've talked to her that night maybe the outcome would've been different.

This hits so hard, I’ve been here way to many times. And now I’m permanently moved out on my own as an adult.. and now.. they are wanting to move a couple hours away. I literally can’t take it.

Once my mom kicked me out and like 5 months later came and helped me pack to move back in…. Then I got kicked out again 🤣 I’ve been kicked out many times but was never fully excommunicated from everyone and I’d stay with family for months and then kinda rotate. I’d stay somewhere around 3 months then things would go south again and so repeat.

I never understood the whole “when you’re 18 you’re on your own”… I’m Canadian and we don’t do that, when moving to America I was shocked that it’s so normal here. All 3 of my children will always have a home, bedroom, food and whatever else they may need, and if they have a family… I’ll gladly give up my room for them, I’ll sleep in the garage for all I care. I even moved my 18yr olds friends in when they were kicked out, I don’t expect money, I only expect to finish your education and try to find a job to put money away to survive. I don’t give hand outs, I give hand ups. As long as my children and family are taken care of, I could be 90 and still ensure my babies are cared for, no matter their age. They will forever be that little baby I held on my chest for that “Golden Hour” that bonded us for eternity.

I didn’t get to say a real goodbye, my mom dropped me off in Oregon when I was 17 and said she’d be back. I told my brother I’d see him again soon. I’m 23 now.
