The Hawaiian monk seal is critically endangered, and acts like this can lead to federal charges under the Endangered Species Act and Marine Mammal Protection Act—fines, prison time. But even beyond the law—how can anyone have that in their heart? If you’d never do that to a person, why do it to a defenseless animal? Let’s be better humans.
