My biggest problem is that I currently have too many resources that I don’t know where to even begin with them.

not resources, but the way I help myself get motivation to STUDY art instead of just drawing, is by incorporating Venti as my muse in any way, my favorite character😂 anatomy? Venti. background? either has Venti in it or very Ventiesque vibes. props/items/vehicles? have Venti interact with them. having a muse does such a big difference for me lol

Heavily recommending The Complete Guide to Perspective Drawing (second edition) by Craig Attebery everything in it also has a video tutorial. It’s taught me everything and somehow also solidified my understanding of where to place shadows and reflections on objects

the “framed” books are so incredibly helpful for composition and perspective. paired with the essential How to Draw/Render books, you’re pretty much set

I went to my local zoo and did about five minutes of drawing animals that caught my eye it helped me understand how to capture the(IDK if I'm saying this right) essence of the animal instead of just copying exactly what I saw
