I went to a wedding where the sister of the bride was also the MOH, who had also dated the groom before the bride did. The WHOLE MOH speech was about them dating, including showing letters they'd written to each other when they were long-distance. It was soooo awkward and uncomfortable. 😬

I made a similar mistake at a wedding with friends where I was asked to speak without warning and said something I thought was common knowledge, but it wasn't. I didn't mean to have that effect, at first I didn't think I did anything wrong because I didn't know that the majority didn't know, but after analyzing it I realized that it wasn't the place or the time so I recognize that it was TA and I apologize to my friend and her husband
