This was actually a special ocasional, it’s not how it works usually. And something most people don’t know is that the church owns the touristic site. And Christ The Redeemer is considered a sanctuary, no just a touristic spot

there's a small chapel inside the black granite base of d statue of Christ. There is a closed snd locked gate to look inside but not be able to go inside
