I remember having a girlfriend (now my ex) for quite a while, i'd always have trouble with my mom back then and we'd always fight and argue over small things. my ex was always there to comfort me and make me feel wanted and safe. it was great for the time it lasted, but overtime we slowly drifted away from eachother.
