I got cancer, wife was there throughout the entire treatment and cure. Taking care of me, for about a year as I worked and went to treatment. Always there for me, will never not love her for that. She is my rock.

My boyfriend doesn’t really like it when I “hover” when he is sick. I will constantly ask him “ how are you? Do you need anything? What can I do to help?” And his response always is “ just be here baby; you being here is good enough.” I will keep my eyes and ears open but give him his space. But help if asked. When I’m sick I don’t want no one messing with me, just leave me alone and I’ll be alright eventually…lol

that is awful. not making excuses, but at the beginning of our marriage I to felt like that. in the same respect I also hated it when he attempted to fuss over me. I just didn't get it. Anyway, because my husband is the best. a loving and patient person, I grew to see the value in relying on each other when we're sick or hurt. I just didn't know what it was supposed to look like before. yes, he probably deserved better, but because I loved him, I wanted to be better. be stronger for him. perhaps she needs time too, and social media kills relationships. people need to quit doing that. I think the problem is when people give up just because things get hard.
