@purelykaylie: No-Bake Caramel Thumbprint Cookies! 🍯🍫 ‌ These no-bake cookies start with a rich chocolate cookie dough ✨ It’s filled with salted caramel sauce & a drizzle of melted chocolate on top! ‌ Made with only 8 ingredients (like almond flour, peanut butter, and maple syrup), these healthy cookies are vegan, dairy-free, gluten-free, and grain-free! ‌ INGREDIENTS Chocolate Cookies: 1 cup almond flour 1/2 cup creamy nut butter 1/4 cup maple syrup 3 tbsp cocoa powder 1 tsp vanilla extract 1/4 tsp salt ‌ Caramel Topping: 1/2 cup salted caramel sauce, refrigerated 1/2 cup chocolate chips Flaky sea salt, for topping ‌ INSTRUCTIONS 1) Add almond flour, nut butter, maple syrup, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and salt to a bowl. Mix together until evenly combined. 2) Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Scoop and flatten the chocolate cookie dough into 8 cookies. Press a tablespoon into the center of each cookie to create a concave center. Fill the center of each cookie with the refrigerated caramel sauce; you’ll want it refrigerated so it has a thick consistency. Then, chill the cookies in the freezer for 10 minutes. 3) Meanwhile, add the chocolate chips to a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until the chocolate is fully melted. Remove cookies from the freezer. Drizzle the melted chocolate over the top of each cookie, along with a sprinkle of flaky sea salt. 4) Place the cookies back into the freezer for 10 minutes to set.
