It looks like voxy is only loading the surfaces. Not the entire chunk. Which is clever. Should be implemented in the vanilla game. While the normal chunk rendering could load like always... Like lite chunk rendering distanse Set to 512 and deep chunk rendering Set to 16.

voxy isnt as good as distant horizons on server only because with distant horizons the server will give you the chunks to load while voxy will force you to go wander around and load them manually 😢

I benchmarked them both. Voxy looks worse due to aliasing of high res textures in the distance. Performs worse to much worse (with water) depending on scene, uses way more video memory, and needs chunky to do what dh already does

I remember distant horizons being terrible. It would losd the chunks as green blobs and still work terribly. The first time I used voxy I genuinely shed a tear. It works great with shaders and loads the chunks perfectly.
