@the_enlightened_ones: ENLIGHTENED ONES, THEY LIED TO US Pouring of libation is biblical. Jacob poured drink offerings on the pillar where God met him. The priests in the Old Testament poured wine and oil on the altar as a standard practice. Even Jesus, during the Last Supper, poured wine and said “This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many.” So why is the exact same practice called “demonic,” “satanic,” and “evil” when Africans pour libation to honour their ancestors? The missionaries came, saw us communicating directly with our bloodline and the spirits of the land, and immediately labelled it devil worship. Yet every Sunday they drink wine at the altar and call it “Holy Communion.” Same act. Different name. Different people doing it. They demonised libation so that Africans would fear their own ancestors, disconnect from their spiritual roots, and become totally dependent on the church as the only way to reach God.
