Amen to this. I resigned from my work kasi di na kaya ng peace of mind, sabi lang nila “kaya ka naman naming buhayin” “parents mo kami, kung kailangan mo ng pahinga, mag pahinga ka”. And I pray that more future parents are like them.

we keep calling out parents na nagpapabuhay sa anak. But we also neglect other rampant situations where parents even in their senior years still need to support the families of their children kasi bubuo-buo ng pamilya hindi naman pala ready. siste, retirement nalanh nila para sa gamot at pang araw-araw napupunta pa pambuhay sa mga apo.

Tahimik lang pero nakakapagod na. Minsan naisip ko pano yung ako. Hindi pako nabubuhay ng para sa sarili ko kung san ba ko sasaya. Parang nabubuhay lng ako para mag bayad ng bahay. Kuryente tubig wifi. Mga utang nila na hindi matapos tapos. Tapos pag aaralin kopa ng college yung bunso.. Hanggang kelan ba ganto.

My parents never required me to give back - but i did and still do. Because I would not be where I am now without their help. We can say it's their responsibility but that is not the way I think. I see all theur sacrifices. All the things they gave up just to send me to school and provide for my needs. Now it's my turn. Its not utang na loob, it's love 💕
