Good to know! I’m trying to figure out if can take Home Depot 27 Gallon Totes (Black Box Yellow Tote) on Alaska without oversized fees. I know Hawaiian can but not sure about Alaska and don’t wanna assume even though they merged.

Girl! Where were you 2 months ago? I paid a total of $600 cause i had 4 bags over 50lbs-70lbs so they charged me $150 a piece 😭😭😭

I don’t get it. Am I the only one? Maybe you are calling the ticket counter the gate? They don’t have a scale at the gate and that isn’t their interest at the gate. If you came out with a heavy carryon bag directly to the gate, how would they even know your carryon weighs that much? They just want to board the flight.

Yup I flew with Hawaiian to Samoa at the time and I they charge me 150 for overweight bag this was in 2012! Yeah they didn’t win that argument with me! I called for supervisor and show them that $50 for 70lbs and then they shut it down! I said that’s false advertisement and if that’s yall hidden fees, better post it online but not confusing customers! Yeah I didn’t pay any 150! I paid $50 😂
