@drmarykatednp: Today I want to share something very personal with you. Many years ago, I lost my brother suddenly in a car accident. He was only 26, and he was 13 months older than me. I carry him with me everywhere. 🤍 Losing him changed me in ways I still feel today. It changed how I love, how I show up for the people in my life, and how deeply I understand that none of us are promised tomorrow. He is one of the reasons I try to live with purpose. He is one of the reasons I hold my family close, choose gratitude, and try to build a life that would make him proud. 🕊️ Grief never really leaves you.
