Thank you for this. Also a reminder to people out there: off the rack clothing is not meant to fit you perfectly. Most department stores used to have on site tailors that could take in clothing for you so it DID fit properly. So if you really like an item, consider getting the size that fits your largest measurement and have it tailored

Another fun fact is that the reason why one company’s clothes size 12 (for example) might not be the same as another company’s size 12 is because each chooses a female model and sizes up or down from her measurements for their clothing lines. It’s obviously not the same woman for every clothing line in every company across the world so they’re all going to be slightly (or sometimes not so slightly) different. :/

Everytime I buy jeans I want to scream. They are always too long, inseem to short or too long, they fit around my waist loose around my thighs, tight on my thighs too loose around my waist
