Here's the reality of it. even if they get the exact money together to get Spirit going again. the FAA, SEC and DOT Have to approve and the new company has to coordinate and comply. you cant just throw money at something and it happen.

Why are people not taking into account that Spirit wasn’t profitable? If the public were able to buy it, they would still have to go through what made it bankrupt. You couldn’t raise prices or people would just fly Frontier, so how are people supposed to cover the losses? Also airlines aren’t even greedy, they do not make much profit at all.
